Longer boards are rare because the Board did not require greater flexibility.
Plates used for transport or travel are the most common types of longboards. Commissions are usually 100-130 cm (39.0-50.3 inches) long and have a shorter nose. The tables are flexible enough to offer a more comfortable ride and often resemble the shape of surfboards. Their trucks are set up to allow loose rounds nearby.
Slalom
The plates are usually 63-89 cm (24.6-34.7 inches) long, and often made of high high-tech materials like carbon fiber. The shorter boards are used in the course of the boards more closely and are used on steeper, faster courses, and giant slalom. The trucks are attached to the tip of the Commission and the boards usually have a limited purpose to allow a turning circle. Slalom skateboards are used almost exclusively for the skating competition. Slalom trucks are often much narrower than normal longboard trucks to allow a degree circle, and differ in design.
Downhill
